Franchise Onboarding and Initial Training
Once you’ve signed the Franchise Agreement, you’re well on your way to completing the steps to franchise ownership.
Onboarding starts about 14 weeks before the business opens. Franchise owners and general managers join weekly meetings and work through an opening checklist. Each meeting helps us complete another part of the setup process.
There are three phases to the onboarding process:
Business Formation
Your initial priorities include the following tasks:
- Establish your business entity and bank account
- Obtain your required licenses and registrations
- Set up your accounting systems
- Start the hiring process and finalize initial staffing
We help owners set up QuickBooks Online. This includes setting up your company’s Chart of Accounts and connecting QuickBooks to ServiceTitan. You can then easily track your finances from the start.
Meanwhile, our marketing agency develops your website and marketing strategy to build your business’ digital presence in your area.
Implementation & Preparation
Owners and general managers complete a six-week ServiceTitan setup and training program. This gives you time to learn the software before helping your first customers. You’ll learn to schedule calls, manage jobs, contact customers, and track business activity.
Training takes place at the Wilmington, NC, facility, where owners can work directly with the team behind the brand and learn our systems, standards, and the day-to-day operations behind a successful franchise.
Launch Readiness
In the last weeks before your business’ opening day, you can finalize any remaining operational details:
- Ensure your employees are trained and ready to serve your customers
- Test the technology and accounting systems for proper operation
- Schedule marketing campaigns through our marketing agency
